Although Paul has left the Saturday 1st team squad and joined local side Pegasus and Corringham Paul will be playing for the club in the National Village and 20-20 Compititions, his hard hitting manner will see Horndon off to many a solid start this season.
Safe hands at 2nd slip and positive attitude makes him a key player in this type of cricket.

Danny Joyce Member profile Danny Joyce
Opening bat, and specialist slip fielder, stunning with the ball, second only to Plommy's pies. Will likely be seen scrounging in the bar after play has finished
Bip Keeping Member profile Bip Keeping
A talented left hand batsman. Bip scored over 500 runs last season at an average of 50.4
His ability to anticipate a batsman's shot makes him an excellent fielder anywhere on the field.
This season will see Bip's medium pacers called into use to create breakthroughs and tie down one end.
Ben Knowles Member profile Ben Knowles

cricketing heros: jason plom, jacque kallis, monty and ronnie irani
Max Osborne Member profile - no photo available Max Osborne
Our youngest 1st team player this season.
Max is an attacking batsman that can pile runs on the board very quickly if need be. His ability to change his game plan allows him to adapt his batting to any given situation.
His services will also be used in the bowling area this season as a right arm, opening bowler.
Watch this boy, he's only getting started.
Dave Stitson Member profile Dave Stitson
The distinguished proffesional.
Dave's years of experience at all levels of the game make him an integral part of the team again this season.
Having scored 600 runs last season and again having won the batting averages, his calm, collected approach to opening the batting will see us off to many a solid opening stand.
Solid 1st slip fielder and occasional spin bowler. Dave will, no doubt, continue to make many valuable contributions to the team this season.

Known as Slogger, Logger, The Bear amoungst many other names which mostly begin with " Fat".

Personal Sporting Highlight - Touching my toes for the first ( and last) time in 17yrs in 2004.
2006 Update - Shock news - I touched my toes again this week - would add only because I dropped a hula Hoop and it got caught on my little toe - small victory I know but you have to take what your given.
