An easy win for the reigning champions after keeping the Stanford scoreline to 109 for 7 from the 16 overs allowed. Andy Ridley and Peter Clark did the damage with the ball with Ted taking two catches behind the stumps and a direct hit runout.
Paul Gamman top-scored for Horndon with 34 and there were useful chip-ins from the rest of the batsmen with Stitto finishing on 16 not out. Horndon only took 12.3 overs to overhaul the Stanford total and will face Grays & Chadwell in the final to be held at Horndon Rec. on Thursday 29th June.
